Big congratulations to senior Kelsey Clark, an Interior Design major, who not only has a fantastic position lined up in her field with a local company, but has even received a promotion within that company based on her work and experience during internships and study abroad. Kelsey Clark Promoted to Junior Designer
NEWBURYPORT, MA – Beverly resident Kelsey Clark, a senior at Endicott College graduating June 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, received a promotion from Design Assistant at Currier & Associates, Inc., to Junior Designer at the esteemed interior design firm in Newburyport, MA.
At Currier, Ms. Clark serves as a member of client project teams working on programming, design development, construction documents, and installations. Recent projects have included Meridian Bayshore in New Jersey and Cornerstone at Milford, MA.
Ms. Clark first joined the design firm’s internship program as an assistant designer in June 2013, after her junior year at Endicott College. Her education and experience includes a semester at the Florence University of the Arts in Italy studying Interior Design and held internships in interior design at Arenson, an office furnishings and architectural products company in Woodbridge, NJ and bfi, in Parsippany, NJ. In addition to her position with Currier, she is working on her senior thesis.
Ms. Clark is a member of the Endicott College Interior Design Club and the American Society of Interior Designers Student Chapter. Previously, she organized and ran classes for an Alzheimer’s and Dementia Program at the Allendale Nursing Home, a skilled nursing community in Allendale, NJ, received the Gold Award for Girl Scouts of America, and worked for the First Congregational Church Soup Kitchen. She is a graduate of River Dell Regional High School in Oradell, NJ.
Her previous experience includes working with sales reps, designing and building furniture systems in AutoCAD, participating in a bank renovation and an expansion for The College of New Jersey, pricing, purchasing, creating and maintaining materials libraries, and creating online systems for clients.
