When you think about special events at Endicott, perhaps the first thing that comes to mind is Misselwood, Endicott’s seaside estate home that hosts beautiful outdoor weddings. What may not be as well-known is that Endicott’s Office of Event and Conference Services coordinates a variety of conferences, residential programs, sports camps, special events and meetings throughout the year. The resort-like setting of the campus allows the staff to utilize the residence halls for housing in the summer months and the state-of-the-art academic buildings are the ideal location for meetings. The revenue that is generated through the office goes directly to the College’s endowment to provide scholarships for students.
A boon in this effort is new certification by the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors – International (ACCED-I) as a One-Stop Shop.
The only North Shore ACCED-I certified One-Stop Shop college, Endicott is now nationally recognized as a collegiate event venue that provides one contact, one contract, and one bill to streamline the coordination of conferencing and events. The ACCED-I Certification serves to improve the event-planning recognition of college campuses, which have been long perceived as large, decentralized, and complex when it comes to planning. With this certification, Endicott now can more closely compete with the services offered by convention facilities and finer hotels, but at a more affordable price.
According to the Director of Conference Services Eileen Geyer, Endicott College’s Event and Conference Services has been operating as a one-stop shop for residential and day meetings for over thirteen years. Now with the official ACCED-I certification, Endicott can officially market this distinction to event planners, corporations, and organizations seeking event space on Boston’s North Shore.
Additional ACCED-I certified colleges in Massachusetts are Hampshire College in Amherst and The Conference Center at Bentley in Waltham.

One-Stop Shop Center is the industry’s premier resource for defining and identifying conforming campus venues. A certified one-stop shop operation provides the most effective planning atmosphere to successfully stage a collegiate conference or event.
At Endicott College we offer meeting facilities that range from oceanfront vistas to state-of-the-art conference rooms. We can accommodate a board meeting for twenty, a corporate outing for 200 and everything in between. We are equipped to host both traditional and specialty events such as product launches, annual meetings, corporate retreats, music performances and networking events. Endicott’s main campus offers 140,000 square feet of meeting space. We have a seasonal 4,500 sq. ft. oceanfront tent, which is heated and air cooled. There are a total of four auditoriums and 50 classrooms. We can accommodate housing for up to 725 people June through the middle of August.
