ANNOUNCEMENT
With the recent passage of HB 3809: An Act Relative to Insurance Coverage for Autism (ARICA) in Massachusetts, it has become clear that the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis has entered a new era. One of the unintended consequences of this wonderful piece of legislation is that it requires a new set of skills and knowledge on the part of Behavior Analysts, that being how to work effectively with the insurance industry. The Institute for Behavioral Studies (IBS) and Endicott College will be hosting a workshop for BCBAs on Saturday, September 25, 2010 on The Basics of Insurance Billing. The workshop is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2010 in the Endicott College Auditorium (Wax Center), 376 Hale St., Beverly, MA, 01915.
