Chronicle of Higher Education Rankings – Endicott a ‘Great College to Work For’!

August 15th, 2012 | Posted by Endicott in Community | Congratulations | News

There are many things we’re proud of here at Endicott – and the community of employees and faculty that we’ve built is most certainly high on the list. So it was such a wonderful pleasure to see our inclusion once again on the Chronicle of Higher Education’s list of Great Colleges to Work For 2012. Not only did we get recognized in 7 out of 12 categories, but we also made the Honor Roll! (It’s like grade school all over again. Can we tack this on the fridge?)

Endicott was recognized as having best practices in the following categories:

  • Collaborative Governance
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Confidence in Senior Leadership
  • Facilities, Workspace and Security
  • Professional/Career Development Programs
  • Respect and Appreciation
  • Teaching Environment

As part of the Honor Roll, Endicott was one of 10 schools in our group (Small four-year colleges) to be called out as ‘the best of the best.’  Fitting, since we were on the Great Colleges to Work For list in both 2010 and 2011.

Along with our listing, Chronicle also wrote an additional article on Endicott, which highlights the work Dr. Wylie does to ensure faculty and administration work together on important issues. It’s quite the honor to be one of three colleges chosen from the whole list to have a spotlight written!

Thanks to every member of our Endicott Community – you make achievements like this possible. Here’s to continuing the tradition in 2013!
